TERMS & CONDITIONS
Last updated: September 2026
These Terms & Conditions apply to purchases made through the SCBOOTROOM website.
By placing an order with SCBOOTROOM, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully before making a purchase.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
1. ABOUT US
SCBOOTROOM is operated by SCBOOTROOM LTD, a company registered in England and Wales.
We specialise in sourcing and selling authentic football boots, including both pre-loved and brand-new pairs.
Our aim is simple: The Best Boots. The Best Prices.
2. OUR PRODUCTS
SCBOOTROOM sells a mixture of pre-loved and brand-new football boots.
Each pair is individually sourced, inspected and photographed before being listed.
Unless clearly stated otherwise, photographs shown on an individual product listing are photographs of the actual pair you will receive.
We make every reasonable effort to ensure product descriptions, photographs, sizing, condition information and other details are accurate.
Due to differences between screens, lighting and photography, colours may appear slightly different in person.
3. PRE-LOVED FOOTBALL BOOTS
A large proportion of the boots sold by SCBOOTROOM are pre-loved.
Pre-loved boots may show signs of previous use, including cosmetic wear, marks, staining, fading, creasing, stud wear or other age-related wear consistent with their stated condition.
Significant known defects or damage will be shown or described within the product listing where reasonably identifiable.
Customers should carefully review all photographs, descriptions and condition information before purchasing.
The age, previous use, stated condition and price of a pre-loved product may be relevant when assessing what can reasonably be expected from that product.
Nothing in this section excludes or limits your statutory rights where an item is faulty, not as described or otherwise does not conform to your legal rights.
4. OLDER & DISCONTINUED BOOTS
SCBOOTROOM regularly sells older, discontinued and collectible football boots, including models that may have been manufactured many years ago.
Materials used in football boots can naturally deteriorate with age, regardless of how frequently the boots have previously been worn.
Older boots may therefore carry an increased risk of deterioration or failure compared with recently manufactured footwear.
Where we are aware of significant deterioration or damage before sale, we will aim to disclose this within the product listing.
Nothing in this section removes or limits any rights you have under applicable consumer law.
5. SIZING
Football boot sizing and fit can vary between brands, models and generations.
The size displayed in the product listing is normally based on the manufacturer's marked UK size unless otherwise stated.
Customers are responsible for determining whether the stated size is suitable for them before purchasing.
Where a product has been incorrectly described or labelled by us, your statutory rights remain unaffected.
6. AUTHENTICITY
Authenticity is at the heart of SCBOOTROOM.
Every pair is inspected before being listed. We use our experience with football boots to assess areas including construction, materials, branding, labels and model-specific details.
If we are not sufficiently confident in the authenticity of a pair, we do not sell it.
If you have concerns regarding the authenticity of an item purchased from SCBOOTROOM, please contact us so that we can investigate.
7. PRICES
All prices are displayed in the currency shown on the website.
The total price payable, including any applicable delivery charges, will be displayed before you complete your purchase.
We reserve the right to change our prices at any time. Changes will not affect orders that have already been accepted.
If a product has been listed at an obviously incorrect price because of a genuine error, we may cancel the order and issue a full refund.
8. ORDERS
Submitting an order does not necessarily mean that we have accepted it.
An order is accepted when we confirm acceptance of the order or dispatch the goods, as applicable.
We reserve the right to cancel or refuse an order where reasonably necessary, including where:
an item is no longer available;
an obvious pricing or listing error has occurred;
payment cannot be authorised;
we reasonably suspect fraud or unauthorised payment activity; or
we are unable to deliver to the address provided.
If payment has already been taken for an order that we subsequently cancel, the relevant amount will be refunded.
9. PAYMENT
Payment must be made using one of the payment methods available at checkout.
Orders will not normally be dispatched until payment has been successfully received or authorised.
You are responsible for ensuring the payment information you provide is accurate and that you are authorised to use the selected payment method.
10. SHIPPING & DELIVERY
Orders are packed carefully and dispatched using the delivery services available for your destination.
Available delivery options, charges and estimated delivery times will be displayed during checkout where applicable.
Any delivery dates or timeframes provided are estimates unless expressly stated otherwise.
Please ensure your delivery address is complete and accurate before submitting your order.
If an order is returned to us because an incorrect or incomplete delivery address was supplied, additional postage charges may apply before the order can be resent.
11. INTERNATIONAL ORDERS
SCBOOTROOM offers international shipping to selected destinations.
International orders may be subject to customs duties, import taxes, handling charges or other fees imposed by the destination country.
Unless we state otherwise or applicable law requires otherwise, these charges are not included in the product or shipping price and are the responsibility of the recipient.
Customs procedures may also cause delivery delays outside SCBOOTROOM's reasonable control.
Customers are responsible for checking any applicable import restrictions or requirements in their destination country before ordering.
12. RETURNS & CANCELLATIONS
Your cancellation and return rights are explained in our Returns & Refunds Policy, which forms part of these Terms & Conditions.
For eligible online purchases, consumers generally have a legal right to cancel within the applicable statutory cancellation period.
You must notify SCBOOTROOM within the applicable period if you wish to exercise your cancellation rights.
Please contact us before returning an item so that the appropriate return instructions can be provided.
Where the law permits the customer to be responsible for return postage, the customer must arrange and pay for that return.
Please refer to our Returns & Refunds Policy for full information about return eligibility, return postage, refunds and store credit.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions or our Returns & Refunds Policy affects your statutory rights.
13. TRYING ON & RETURN CONDITION
You may inspect and try on football boots to the extent reasonably necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and fit.
If you intend to return an item, it should not be worn for training, matches or outdoor use beyond what would reasonably be permitted when examining footwear.
Where applicable law allows, we may make an appropriate deduction from a refund if an item has been handled beyond what is reasonably necessary and its value has consequently been reduced.
This does not affect your rights where goods are faulty, damaged, not as described or otherwise do not conform to the contract.
14. FAULTY OR INCORRECT ITEMS
If you believe you have received an item that is faulty, damaged, incorrectly described or different from what you ordered, please contact SCBOOTROOM as soon as reasonably possible.
Please provide your order number and photographs or other relevant information where appropriate so we can investigate the issue.
Your legal rights in relation to faulty or non-conforming goods are separate from any change-of-mind return arrangements and are not restricted by these Terms & Conditions.
15. PRODUCT CARE
Football boots should be used, cleaned and stored appropriately.
Customers should follow any applicable manufacturer's care guidance.
SCBOOTROOM cannot accept responsibility for damage caused by misuse, inappropriate playing surfaces, incorrect cleaning or drying methods, improper storage, deliberate damage, or normal wear and tear.
This does not exclude liability where SCBOOTROOM is legally responsible for the condition of the goods.
16. PRODUCT AVAILABILITY
All products are subject to availability.
Many SCBOOTROOM products are individual pre-loved pairs, meaning only one pair may be available.
Although we take reasonable steps to keep stock information accurate, an item may occasionally become unavailable after an order has been submitted.
If this happens, we will contact you and refund any amount paid for the unavailable item.
17. PROMOTIONAL CODES & OFFERS
Discount codes and promotional offers may be subject to additional conditions, including expiry dates, minimum spending requirements or restrictions on particular products.
Unless otherwise stated, promotional codes cannot be exchanged for cash and cannot be used retrospectively on completed orders.
We reserve the right to withdraw or amend a promotion where reasonably necessary, provided this does not affect orders already validly placed under that promotion.
18. WEBSITE INFORMATION
We take reasonable care to ensure information on the SCBOOTROOM website is accurate and up to date.
Occasional errors may occur, including errors relating to pricing, descriptions, availability or website functionality.
We may correct these errors when identified.
19. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
Unless otherwise stated, SCBOOTROOM's website content, branding, graphics, photographs, videos, logos and original written content belong to SCBOOTROOM or are used with appropriate permission.
They must not be reproduced, distributed or used commercially without permission where protected by applicable intellectual property law.
Third-party brand names and trademarks, including the names and logos of football boot manufacturers, remain the property of their respective owners.
SCBOOTROOM is an independent retailer and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by those brands unless expressly stated otherwise.
20. LIABILITY
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so.
Subject to applicable consumer law, SCBOOTROOM is not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was formed or losses resulting from circumstances outside our reasonable control.
Nothing in these Terms limits your statutory rights or excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.
21. EVENTS OUTSIDE OUR CONTROL
We will not be responsible for delays or failures caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control.
These may include postal or courier disruption, customs delays, severe weather, transport disruption, industrial action, natural disasters, failures of third-party systems or other events we could not reasonably prevent.
Where such an event affects your order, we will take reasonable steps to minimise its impact.
22. FRAUD & MISUSE
We reserve the right to cancel orders, restrict access to our website or refuse future transactions where we reasonably believe there has been fraudulent activity, payment abuse, attempted deception or other unlawful misuse of our services.
Any action taken under this section will be subject to applicable law.
23. PERSONAL INFORMATION
Personal information provided to SCBOOTROOM is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection law.
Please refer to our Privacy Policy for information about how personal information is collected, used and protected.
24. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time to reflect changes to our business, website, services or applicable law.
The Terms & Conditions applying to your purchase will normally be those in effect when your order was placed.
The latest version will be available on our website.
25. GOVERNING LAW
These Terms & Conditions and any contract between you and SCBOOTROOM are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
If you are a consumer living outside England and Wales, you retain any mandatory consumer protections available to you under the laws applicable where you live.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions restricts any rights you may have regarding the courts or dispute resolution under applicable consumer law.
26. CONTACT US
